 The Matala "Muck Buster" Vacuum II is a powerful 2 H.P. pond vacuum designed to clean ponds up to 2000 gallons. It can lift small pebbles and vacuum leaves and organic waste from the bottom of your pond. It has a 5 gallon capacity and as the tank fills it will automatically shut off and drain the dirty water out the back to your grass or a drain. When it is empty it turns itself on automatically again and continues to vacuum again. The on/off cycle is approx. 40 seconds vacuum and 20 seconds drain out.

 The Muck Vac connects to your garden hose and the specially designed vacuum head creates a high pressure suction lift up the vacuum pipe. You can suck up small pebbles and leaves and organic debris from the pond bottom. Some people use it to clean the filter tank out. The waste water is pumped out continuously to the grass or a drain in your garden. It really is quite powerful if your water pressure is good. You will also make a water change at the same time you are cleaning the pond. |
